PRIVATE EVENTS
Private events are hosted on Thursdays - Sundays starting at 5pm with a minimum of 2 hours for each booking. We do not book private events during regular business hours. If you wish to buy out the entire cafe space for an entire day during our business hours, please contact us at 651.493.0163.
Two Types of Events Offered:

Reception Style - ideal for product launches, networking, meet and greets, and celebrations

Rate: $900 for 2 hours, $200 for each additional hour

Food & drink minimum: $500

Capacity: minimum 12 people, maximum 40 people

Stay-late fee: for each 15 minute increment past your reserved booking, there is a $15 per person fee for going beyond the reservation time slot

Doors open for set-up 15 minutes prior to reserved time

Plated Tables - tables are set-up beautifully, ideal for all celebrations

Rate: $700 for the first two hours, $200 for each additional hour

Grazing table, platters, or plated meals served to each guest

Food & drink minimum: $300

Capacity: minimum of 12 people, maximum of 20 people

Payment & Deposits:
1/2 of payment is due at the time of booking to secure your reservation date. The second half of payment is due at time of your event. Availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please note, for every private event booking, there is a 15% gratuity fee applied to the final bill.
Cancellations:
The first half of payment is fully refundable 10 calendar days before your scheduled event. You will not be refunded the first half payment if you cancel under 10 calendar days of the scheduled reservation. Cancellations must be done by phone at 651.493.0163 or via email at thirtysixcafemn@gmail.com. The cancellation must be made by the individual who booked the private event. We ask that you provide your name, phone number, and date/time of your event that you seek to cancel.
Rescheduling Dates:
Rescheduling your event must be made 14 calendar days outside of your scheduled private event and will only be accommodated if the future date you are looking to reschedule for is available.
Outside Decor, Food & Beverages Policy:
We do not allow any decorations, balloons, confetti, feathers, glitter, or decor that will cling, attach, or interfere with our floral decor. Balloon garlands are allowed. However, you must contact the cafe at 651.493.0163 to discuss details and get our vendor list. Outside food and beverages are not allowed.
